Before You Begin Your Application

To ensure a smooth application process, please read the following instructions carefully. The evaluation of your application is based on the quality and accuracy of the information provided.

1. Eligibility Check

  • Individual Applicants: Must be currently enrolled in or have an admission offer from an accredited secondary or tertiary institution. Special consideration is given to students from Ebonyi and Imo States, though the foundation is open to all qualified Nigerians.

  • Organizational Applicants: Must be a registered Non-Profit, School, or Community-Based Organization with a clear mission in educational development or youth empowerment.

2. Documentation Requirements

Please have digital copies (PDF or JPEG) of the following documents ready for upload:

For Individuals:

  • A valid Government-issued ID (NIN, Voter’s Card, or Birth Certificate).

  • Recent Academic Transcripts or Statement of Result (WAEC/NECO/JAMB).

  • A Personal Statement (500 words max) explaining your career goals and how this scholarship will help you.

  • One Letter of Recommendation from a teacher, lecturer, or community leader.

For Organizations:

  • Certificate of Incorporation (CAC).

  • Organizational Profile and Mission Statement.

  • A detailed Project Proposal if applying for a specific grant.

  • Evidence of previous community impact (photos, reports, or letters of recognition).

3. The Application Fee

The application fee is used to facilitate the administrative vetting, background checks, and verification of academic records.

  • Individual Fee: $150 USD

  • Organizational Fee: $400 USD

  • Note: Payments are non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the application.

4. The Process

Step 1: Select your category (Individual or Organization).

Step 2: Fill out the online intake form and upload the required documents.

Step 3: Payment details and instructions will be sent to you via the email you provided in the intake form. You are expected to make payment afterwards via the provided payment channels.

Step 4: You will receive an automated confirmation email with your Application Tracking Number.

Step 5: The Board of Trustees will review your submission. You will be notified of the final decision within 4–6 weeks.

Individual Applicant

For students and talented individuals seeking financial support for tuition, research, or vocational training.

  • Application Fee: $150 USD

  • Key Requirements: * Academic transcripts or proof of talent.

    • Personal statement of intent.

    • Letter of recommendation.

  • Application Fee: $400 USD

  • Key Requirements: * Certificate of Incorporation/Registration.

    • Project proposal or mission alignment statement.

    • Financial audit/statement.
